The ‘I’ = intersex, I think
I believe ‘A’ stands for ‘asexual’. (Not sure, though, whether or not this is folks that have voluntarily given up sex, or for some biological/hormonal/mental reason cant or dont participate in sexual activity).
.
The ‘I’ = intersex, I think
I confess to being quite confused, as I do not think that trans women have a cervix and therefore a cervical cancer screening wouldn't make much sense. On July 8, 2023, The Daily Mail asserted in a headline that "health professionals" were being "urged" by an unidentified entity "to call vaginas 'bonus holes' to avoid offending trans or non-binary patients."
...
The claim was a misleading regurgitation of a controversy created a few weeks earlier, when conservative outlets like The Blaze reported on the contents of a 2020 document produced by one cervical cancer charity in the U.K. — Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust. Both that original reporting, as well as the later article by The Daily Mail, referenced a factual document but mischaracterized its intent.
...
That a single charity's glossary for medical professionals doing cervical screenings, specifically, could be interpreted as a recommendation for all health professionals to change their methods, writ large, was a suspect proposition to begin with. It was even more suspect when one examined the nature of the document from which the rumor originated. It appeared to serve as an educational resource, not a policy mandate or proposal, and unpacked several issues for trans men or non-binary people when it comes to accessing routine cervical screenings.
Health Professionals Are Now Being Told To Call Vaginas ‘Bonus Holes’ To Avoid Offending Trans Patients

Health professionals are being urged to use the term “bonus holes” when referring to vaginas in order to avoid offending transgender or non-binary patients, according to the Daily Mail.
This suggestion was made by a charity called Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, which aims to provide information and support for health professionals treating patients with cervical cancer, per the news outlet. The charity clarified that they were not suggesting that all women use this term, but rather it was important to use inclusive language that would reach out to transgender and non-binary individuals. However, this suggestion has been met with criticism from women’s rights campaigners who argue that the language is misogynistic and dehumanizing.
The use of the term “bonus holes” instead of “vagina” is seen as an attempt to be more inclusive and respectful towards transgender and non-binary individuals. By using this terminology, health professionals are acknowledging that not everyone with a vagina identifies as a woman.
It is important to recognize and validate the identities of all patients, regardless of their gender identity, they argue. However, social media critics contend that replacing the term “vagina” with “bonus hole” is problematic as it diminishes the significance and complexity of female anatomy. They believe that this language is demeaning and reinforces harmful stereotypes.
The charity defended their suggestion by stating that they were providing information for all individuals with cervixes and the health professionals who support them.
They emphasized the need for healthcare providers to be sensitive and inclusive in their language to ensure that all patients feel respected and understood. However, many women’s rights campaigners argue that this attempt at inclusivity comes at the expense of women’s rights and erases the unique experiences and struggles faced by cisgender women.
The debate surrounding the use of terminology in healthcare is complex and multifaceted. On one hand, it is crucial to create an inclusive and safe space for transgender and non-binary individuals, ensuring that their identities are recognized and respected.
On the other hand, it is important to acknowledge the historical and societal significance of female anatomy and not diminish its importance. Healthcare professionals must strike a balance between being sensitive to the needs of all patients while also preserving the integrity of medical terminology.

Story by Jenny Goldsberry • 28m ago
New Hampshire's first transgender state representative has been charged with distributing child sexual abuse images.
Democrat Stacie-Marie Laughton, 39, was arrested on Wednesday and arraigned in Hillsborough Superior Court the following day on several counts of distribution.
Laughton opted to waive the arraignment, meaning the judge did not read the charges brought against her.
Additionally, Laughton's girlfriend, Lindsay Groves, 38, was also arrested on the same day on one count of sexual exploitation of children, and one count of distribution of child pornography. Groves was working at a daycare called Creative Minds located in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts at the time stands accused of taking pictures of the children in her care.
Investigators discovered 2,500 text messages between Groves and one individual that included the photos.
Laughton has a criminal history dating back to 2021, which included counts of providing false information to 911. Previous unknown felony convictions precluded Laughton from taking office in 2012, but she was again elected in the same year, until she stepped down from office after her fellow Democratic lawmakers called for the representative's resignation.
Sexual exploitation of children convictions carry a sentence of at least 15 years and up to 30 years in prison, at least five years and up to a lifetime of supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000.
Distribution of child pornography convictions have a mandatory minimum sentence of five years and up to 20 years in prison, a mandatory minimum of five years including up to a lifetime of supervised release and a fine of up to $250,000.

Swim champion has brutal message for transgender athletes
Story by Kevin Harrish • 1h ago

This week, former Kentucky Wildcats swimmer Riley Gaines was made aware of a letter sent to the Harvard swim team regarding the participation of Lia Thomas, who is a transgender woman who competes with the Harvard women’s swim team. And it’s safe to say Gaines was not happy about the contents of the letter.
The letter read: “The conversations and controversy surrounding Lia have been challenging to read. In particular, they focus or (sic) what is fair and what is ethical. Regardless of your personal stance, Lia has been incredibly transparent and is abiding by all NCAA rules. That is a fact. Having watched [Schuyler Bailar]’s transition first hand, I can tell you that if it wasn’t for the support of the teams, he may not be here today. Life is more important than politics. While we will never tell you what to do or what to believe, it doesn’t benefit out team from winning a championship if we spend our collective energy getting annoyed or frustrated. Let the NCAA figure out their next steps. Let us focus on our team. And if any press reaches out, then please direct them to our Sports Media Office and ideally, refrain from comment.”
Upon reading the letter, Gainse offered her own interpretation of what the letter said, mocking it.
Here is Gaines’ interpretation of the letter: “Let my divert your attention from inherently feeling like something is wrong, by asking you to focus on how great Lia has been. Let me emotionally blackmail you into accepting mistreatment because otherwise you are complicit in a potential death. Exchanging your fair treatment for someone else’s benefit (a male in this case) is a justifiable cause. And the fair treatment of women is ‘just politics’ anyway. While we won’t tell you what to do, we’re telling you it is a bad choice to fight this. Let the men in charge at the NCAA decide your fate. Immerse your thoughts and feelings into something else to ignore the obvious injustice you face. Let other people decide if you are worthy of fair competition without your input or voice. Oh, and finally don’t talk.”
It’s safe to say she is not happy with Harvard’s message to its women’s swim team.

Riley Gaines Testifies Swimmers Who Felt ‘Violated’ Had to Change in ‘Janitor’s Closet’ To ‘Accomodate’ Lia Thomas
Story by Isaac Schorr • Yesterday 12:20 PM
Women’s rights activist Riley Gaines testified that swimmers at the 2022 NCAA Championships “undressed in the janitor’s closet” to avoid being seen by Lia Thomas, a male-to-female transgender competitor for the University of Pennsylvania’s women’s team during a Senate Judiciary hearing on Wednesday, saying they felt “violated” by Thomas’s presence in the locker room.
The anecdote came up during an exchange with Senator Mike Lee (R-UT):
LEE: Did the NCAA embrace your diversity? Tell me what attempts that the NCAA made to accommodate you and other female swimmers who felt uncomfortable sharing an open locker room with a biological male?
GAINES: Nothing. They actually made us feel guilty for feeling as if we were uncomfortable. Time and time again that’s what we saw. There was even a group of girls who undressed in the janitor’s closet. They changed clothes in the janitor’s closet because they felt more comfortable undressing in that environment than they did undressing next to someone with male gaze.
LEE: And were they doing that because they were transphobic?
GAINES: They were doing it because they were violated.
LEE: Tell me how they were violated.
GAINES: I think two, three, four years ago, if a man claims the identity of simply saying they are a woman, walks into a locker room, a DA would follow this man into a locker room, arrest him, and he’s charged with sexual harassment, voyeurism, indecent exposure, and the list goes on. But this was celebrated. This was encouraged. Lia Thomas was then nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year, which is an award I was also nominated for. But when I saw the full list of nominees and saw that NCAA Woman of the Year was not exclusive to just women, the award was immediately devalued and meaningless to me. That’s how they honoring this rather than making us feel reassured in our feelings that this was wrong.
LEE: When you accommodate men time and time again, refusing to accommodate women, we call that misogyny.
Only Thomas was awarded a fifth place trophy when Thomas and Gaines tied in the 200 freestyle at the NCAA Championships.

Female cyclist, defeated by trans woman, speaks out after race: 'I feel a separate category is appropriate'
Fox News Story by Scott Thompson • 4h ago
Some controversy surrounded cycling's Belgian Waffle Race North Carolina on Saturday, as a trans woman came out victorious in the women’s division of the 131-mile race through the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Austin Killips, who rides under Nice Bikes, finished the tough, multi-surface race in eight hours, 28 minutes and seven seconds to win the third annual race, per Cycling News.
Coming in second place was Paige Onweller, who finished four minutes behind Killips.
"For those following women’s road cycling, you are aware of the UCI rule that this is currently allowed. Rather than sharing my personal opinions about the UCI rule, I think it’s most important to recognize that all athletes, no matter how they identify, should have a space to compete and race.
"Additionally, underneath all helmets is a face and a person who deserves respect, dignity and a safe space to ride bikes," Onweller stated in a news release, via Cycling News.
"In the future, I feel a separate category is appropriate, but event promoters are also learning what is best to preserve both female cycling while also creating an inclusive space for all to ride. These things take both time and grace to resolve.
"I plan to continue to support and attend BWR events in the future as I trust they will navigate this with respect for all riders going forward. I want to thank all event promoters for the work they do and the difficulty they face in these decisions."
It has become a pressing topic in many sports at many different levels, but Onweller said she is keeping her personal opinions on the matter to herself and keeping a positive outlook in her respective athletic domain.
Some, like former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines and broadcaster Sage Steele, are making their opinions well-known as they believe women in sports need to be protected.
Trump did the right thing??? lol...not contradictory at all. Just because Trump tried to do the right thing here, you and the majority of the GOP just can't seem expect that people have a right to live according their gender identity. You know the right to life and liberty, that unfortunately our constitution states can be taken away with due process of law.
During a speech at the North Carolina Republican Party’s convention in Greensboro, Donald Trump sent a clear message to transgender female athletes, calling them “men” throughout his speech. Trump promised that if he is elected president in 2024, he will ban them from women’s sports.

Your statements here appear contradictory, which is not suprising...
So which is it?"Trump supports the LGBTQ.,He even was selling rainbow merchandise in support of that community. Perhaps that log in your eye is interfering with your vision?"
"do you understand how the anti-trans material that you post leads to the dehumanization and violence against the now favorite target of the GOP?"

When John Cleese was asked about why he defends transphobia he had this to say.
Never have heard of females attacking trans in a women marked facility... More than likely the females freak out and exit... Aggression tends to be in the public arena by gay/trans hating males.Transgender women are more likely to be the targets of violence & sexual predators than to be the aggressors themselves.
