Well Just Jim if we are so energy independent how come wr are importing so much oil? Where 4 years ago we were exporting oil?
Or how come WA has the highest prices on Gas in the nation? That we can thank the same dumb schit that as mentioned earlier didn't have the brains to not bring infested homegrown fruit into an apple maggot quarantine area

We import certain grades of oil, because for instance, some refineries prefer certain types of oil. But we export others kinds…the US has always exported AND imported different types of energy and oil. Oil isn’t just one ‘thing’….there are many many types and grades of oil.
What part of ‘net exporter’ and ‘produce more than we consume’ is not clear to you?

You know a much better policy from our elected leaders, state but much more Biden and his idiot cronies is a far better place to focus your ire! Hank has been excellent to this valley for many many years but especially over Covid and this current Dementia administration.

Don't get me wrong I am most certainly not blaming Hank for the high price. The Blame falls on the federal and state elected officials, especially the idiot that would bring infested home grown fruit into an apple maggot quarantine area.and the puppet that took us from being energy independent to energy dependent by pretty much shutting down oil production in the US.

Even in Omak the price is is 40 cents less per gal than at Hanks which is usually lowest place in the Valley. I.e. Diesel 4.03 at tribal trails 10/23

Had to make a run to Costco Monday the 23rd... What a surprise!!! Regular $3.859!!! Other local stations were $4.099...

Come on Methow Valley... Get with the program!
