I would think that when Trump decides to sell his shares - either in 6 months when the lock is lifted and he can sell 1% - one of the dangers will be that his sale will be noted and will signal a major sell off so whatever he leaves on the table will lose even more value. Of course in 6months it's more likely that the stock in total will be close to worthless and the elections will only be weeks away.

More and more reporting coming in by the day/hour as the NY court looks into the viability of the Knight group to actually have the funds to qualify to post a bond in NY. And then there's the interview the Knight billionaire gave where he said he had spoken with Trump's team about actually offering to go for the original $454 million number, which was not disclosed by Trump's lawyers to the appeals panel, but instead they told the court that they had gotten 30 refusals. The breech in not informing the court puts Trump's legal team in jeopardy of legal punishments personally.

Meanwhile, one report I saw but unverified by others noted that despite saying that Trump put up cash to secure the bond that actually it's in the form of an IOU...take with a grain of salt.

It sort of a classic move….especially when there is basically worthless stock in play. The big money gets going - on both buying and selling sides - it’s called ‘churning’. It’s a ‘pump and dump’ move on behalf of the people who have the most to gain; run the price up, then get out fast.

This stock will likely be trading at a fraction of its current cost by the time Guilty donnie gets to sell any. Hopefully.
