BC infrastructure collapse will impact Washington State

Highways 3 and 99 are now open for essential travel only.

Apparently fuel rationing is being implemented in some areas, most notably the greater Vancouver area.

Great article on just how the latest storms to hit BC that closed off Port of Vancouver from west/east access is going to impact Washington State's infrastructure. BC is looking at sending their goods down the I-5 corridor, maybe down to Portland, or maybe to head east at I-90 then back up north to their border. The burden of the extra commerce is not something Washington's highway system is prepared for.
