All evidence to the contrary Ken. Stats Jim used are govt produced stats. Polling shows a distinct movement away from believing Trump anymore.

Sure, always fair, balanced and honest that's how you're known! Skewed nonsense charts probably produced by Soros funded think tanks don't make truth. I think the majority of this country doesn't buy your sides nonsense anymore.

YES…that is EXACTLY what has happened.

Not that I expect you to have the education, skill or ability to digest and understand the numbers.
.
Or, the humility and grace to admit - that once again - you are just spewing random SH*T outta your ignorant pie-hole. Like always…..

One of those "wack jobs" was a registered Republican.
8647 seems to be up to interpretation and #47 will use the one that fits their purpose. They should thank Comey for #47's win. He released Hilary's emails just at the right time.

MC, your predictions here are as useless as your predictions about the 'parade of horribles ' you thought would happen over COVID, complete sh**!
Don't kid yourselves about death threats, they come RELENTLESSLY from your side, two of your whackjobs nearly succeeded on Trump! Maybe we should stop with the mob term 86 (8 miles away and 6 feet deep) 47?

Re: Political Cartoons...
Newhouse has had credible death threats. Ask people that have talked to him directly. FBI has told him not to have town hall meetings.
So, I would think many members of Congress have had threats. Murkowski came right out and said she was scared.
But I agree David, and these Congress people, with their salaries and investments really could afford body guards and maybe they do have some security.
JD on a short leash or no reason to have him on a leash. 8647 VP.

Re: Political Cartoons...
I would argue that Romney and Murkowski, by not standing up, denouncing, and fighting back against MAGA are actually enabling evil.
There is some indication that they fear for their personal safety if they did so. That's probably true. But trying to play both sides of it like they are doing is unlikely to save them or their families in the end. Sometimes it is better to die on your feet than live on your knees. Although that's easy for me to say as right-wing kooks aren't threatening to kill me or my family. Currently.
My opinion is that the first American Republic is dead. The only remote possibility that might save it now is if enough Republicans in the House and Senate switched sides and caucused with the Democrats. Then immediately impeached Trump and convicted him and removed him from office. And used their veto-proof majority to pass a package of laws that would make a future Trump impossible and keep JD Vance on a very short leash. I said "remote" possibility but in practice I think pigs will be flying if all that ever happens.

Honorable Republicans abound, certainly! I like Liz Cheney OK, and Romney. And what is not to like/honor about Eisenhower?
I liked John McCain…voted for him because I thought Obama lacked some ‘managerial/executive’ expertise (..’tho, later, I thought Obama did a Great Job!)
…and …sigh…I even voted for Bush Jr. in 2000 because I thought Al Gore was a fatuous gasbag. I kinda regret that one. Although…in any case, I would respect Bush Jr for his many decades of public service!
Whether R or D - respect for those, and others, is warranted. What is NOT warranted is the current crop of R ideologues!

Re: Political Cartoons...
Query: do any "Good" Republicans hold elective office?
It seems to me that all Republican elected officials seem to either be 100 percent on board with this loudly and publicly or are keeping their heads down. Nobody seems to have the ability to stand up and say this second Trump administration is both evil and badly wrong.

8647... Nothing wrong with wanting to dump the trash.
I don't agree with Jim's Republican analysis as a whole as it only applies to the CURRENT Republicans in power that have drank the MAGA kool-aide. There are many good Republicans, Christian and others, waiting for the restoration of the party once the trash is thrown out.

Re: Political Cartoons...
Did Jesus hate? He would forgive #47 despite his many trangressions, too numerous to list. Ah but I do have to list one. They want to "erase" the history of Jan. 6th. They don't want to put up a plaque at the White House honoring the policemen that risked their lives that day.

Not until you admit the last one! Jesus REALLY hated the den of vipers and hypocrites who portrayed virtuousness. RAY

Re: Political Cartoons...
I have never seen you tell others to be less harsh or quit the name calling and or personal attacks, it's funny how you only ever see it one way? And even when I respond to you respectfully and only use arguments or justification and avoid any name calling or personal invective you either ignore those or skip all that and focus only on previous 'wrongs'. Can't you see how this is perceived by me and maybe consider how you handle this back and forth and possibly modify your choices if you want different responses from me? Often I have to reply to several of you here attacking me at once (maybe with slightly different methods or words) and I mash all my replies into one response. So maybe you personalize my harshness as only being directed at you.
