Whatever option FOP decides to pursue, it should not include “future facilities.” A pool is the only facility we should be voting on.

It can done with volunteers, fund raising and increasing the sales tax by .02% .

Public pool swimmers really don't need to significantly impose the cost of their recreation and pool party fun onto others.

I have no desire to be open to options in order to accommodate the FOP after what they put this community put through yet again.

The MVN left out the part of the ballot language where tax money was also going to be used for related existing and future facilities. So it wasn't just about a 21 million dollar mega pool as stating in that article.

A fair and reasonable assessment.

It should be clear to everyone involved that an expensive indoor aquatic center has no future in this valley. The same for an un-elected governing body with authority to take on debt and impose taxes.

Going forward folks should be thinking about a modest proposal appropriate to the nature of our community that people can rally behind. Whatever solution comes about, there will be a significant component of local funding. People should be open to options.
