Also, fun fact: when I connect to methownet.com from methow.com (aka NCIData) my packets go to Kansas before coming back into the valley. Gotta love the Internet.

True story, when I was a lad I worked at a facility with two different projects and internet connections, all located in the Seattle area. To transfer data between the projects and different internet connections involved a satellite link and data basically going all the way to France and back!

A lot of times just using a different browser can make a big difference.

Also, using BB software from a suitable decade and not hacking it so you can display ads .

An issue is that the MV BB is being run in a "frame" (html iframe) as a smaller part of the overall website display window... This factor also causes the login/edit issues for posters... The underlying phpbb BB software was not optimally designed to be run inside a frame.

Try running the MV BB outside of its frame and see if the same issue exists... Of course, you will be bypassing their ads that generate revenue for them...
