On not answering your cell phone...
This article is really a sad commentary on our fallen world:
https://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/l ... 0gf2ycjLcU
To be fair, when I'm lost I usually have more important things to do than answer my phone, in particular when I don't know who the caller is. It wouldn't be a productive use of my time in that situation to speak to someone who was informing me I just won the Slovenian National Lottery and needed to pay 500 Euros to release the funds, or to someone from a county in Alabama that I've never been to telling me there was a warrant for my arrest and I could clear it up with a reasonable payment on my credit card, or for that matter some bank I've never heard of warning me of a fraud alert on my credit card and wanting to verify my identity...
It is a shame that we've taken a perfectly good piece of technology and turned it into a haven for spammers and scammers.
I've got auto-call blocking on my cell phone, which is helpful but isn't one hundred percent effective and is often slightly overenthusiastic on who it blocks.
