Aurora update Oct 31 6pm, Seattle.
Based on the latest from SWPC, I'm calling aurora in Seattle tonight a no go:

This is more than "pushed back," the whole thing has been downgraded.

Usually the northern lights are blocked by mountains from our location on the East Chewuch Rd... Are there any good viewing locations within a short drivung distance that will improve our chances?

Thanks in advance!

Usually I can see these from my home however last two nights, no light show as forecast. I checked every two hours or so throughout the night up until 5 am. Good star show however.

If you are near that old road that climbs up to Sullivan pond, that might work. ATV?
