A very odd phone call...

I sometimes get calls from recruiters. Usually they are just annoying. Sometimes they are entertaining. This one was just plain weird...

They were looking for a principal researcher to be located in Loomis, WA. I told the recruiter that he absolutely had to be mistaken about the location. The recruiter insisted that it wasn't and my name came up as I lived "close" to Loomis. I explained to him that it would be a 4-5 hour round trip commute each day and that I had no interest in moving. Especially to Loomis.

This guy has to be mistaken, though. I can't imagine there is some super-secret research facility there.

But the chicken strips at the Kwik Stop are good...
