The NCW article said the driver of the motorcycle was cited for following the vehicle too closely. We had a motorcycle doing about 85mph up valley last week and passing people on double yellow lines on bridges and corners. I will always watch out for bikes but they also need to follow the laws of the road.

Twisp and Winthrop stations and Aero Methow Rescue Services responded to a motorcycle collision, highway 20 at Ayers Road just south of Twisp at 5:52 pm yesterday.
First engine on scene found a single motorcycle on it's side blocking the eastbound lane with the patient being treated by Aero Methow units.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to central Washington hospital via LifeFlight. The fire units remained on scene assisting with traffic control until the WA State Patrol finished their investigation. All engines were back at the station by 8:15 pm.
