Friends of the Pass-Enclose Maple Pass loop.

Post by Fun CH »

A new recreational organization has just formed called Friends of the Pass or FOP. We will be asking only the Methow Valley Property Owners (because we can) to fund a series of glass domes with connecting glass covered walkways to be constructed along the popular Maple Pass Loop. Each glass dome will be placed in the location of the current popular view stopping points.

At view point domes 2 and 4, you will be able to purchase t-shirts and your favorite triple spice double soy foam latte with a just a Sprinkle of chocolate.

Yes the good news it will be heated and have comfortable air conditioning for year round use and to escape rising earth temperatures. Our motto is "we mitigate we don't prevent". Who wants to give up luxury living after all, it's only a few degrees of Heating and we'll be inside protected away from any harmful effects of a Global Extinction event.

Hikers will now be able to use this popular loop trail, paved with rose pedals and duff, during Smokey and hot weather, rain or shine. Join us and the expected 2,000 hikers per day. This will benefit our Valley as we expect more visitors to buy, buy, buy because we want to sell, sell, sell. It's a win, win, win. All you have to do to make this a project a dream reality for us is to pay, pay, pay.

We expect this will cost between $2,000,000 to $100,000,000. Trust us, we don't want to pay any more than we have to so we will keep these costs as low as possible until we start the next project at another one of our most popular hiking trails,Blue Lake. Here the dome will cover the entire lake and will be heated to the temperature of a warm baby's butt because some of us like to swim in comfort and luxury wherever we travel. And it will be energy efficient.

We will be asking the lowest income citizens of the Methow Valley to contribute 15.7% of their income to this project. If you are at the top tier level of income, expect to pay 4.4% of your income to fund this project. If you can't afford hiking boots, a free rental voucher can be obtained at the Mega Spa so that you might be able to occasionally join us. Yea we know this tax is regressive but we don't care.

We are doing this for the safety of the children of course, shouldn't they be able to hike year-round in Comfort guided by hand rails along the route. We also want to teach our children how to party responsibly along the trail.

Please trust us as we will be beholden to the voters, but don't ask us any questions until after we are in power spending your tax dollars.*

So come join us for the human folly party and be our friends for the day.

* we apologize but we found that asking too many questions is not good for our project goals. Asking too many questions may result in you being banned from our Facebook page or harassed in public if you tell us we can't be trusted because in the past we cut down a few endangered trees, ok it was more than 30 but who's counting.
